María Inés Granado

María Inés Granado is an economist with an honors degree from the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), Partner at Granado & Taquini (formerly known as Magma Consultoría), and consultant with extensive experience in valuations for investment projects and ongoing businesses, and business and economics consultancy in general.

She spent six years with Enron as Commercial Director for Latin America, working in São Paulo, Brazil, and Houston, USA. She was responsible for structuring transactions, including economic and financial valuations, managing derivatives, and overseeing risk management. She also led projects with industrial and energy companies, serving clients throughout Latin America.

Prior to this, she worked at Astra Group (now Repsol) in financial management and new business development for six years. Her responsibilities included corporate and project financing, commodity and derivatives trading, and involvement in the privatization processes of Metrogas and Edenor, where she managed business valuations and negotiated with partners and creditors.
Paula Taquini

Paula Taquini is an economist with an honors degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA). She has been a partner at Magma for 25 years, where she garnered extensive experience in evaluations of investment projects and valuations of standing companies.

She has two years of public sector experience as coordinator at the Agency of Investments and as advisor to the National Secretariat of Industry and Commerce. In these roles, she oversaw numerous investment projects, focusing on investor relationships.

Prior to that, she worked as Planning Manager at Tecnología Integral Médica (TIM S.A.) for five years. Her key responsibilities included evaluating investment opportunities for the group’s companies. She also led the sale of the companies’ shares to The Exxel Group, collaborating closely with INFUPA S.A. on the transaction, and subsequently represented the former shareholders in multiple negotiation processes. 

Before her work at TIM S.A., she worked at Alpha Estudio de Economía y Negocios S.A. as a macroeconomic analyst, and served as an adjunct professor for the World Economic History course and the Argentine Economic History course led by Dr. Roberto Cortés Conde at the University of San Andrés.
